Guest guest Posted August 31, 2001 Report Share Posted August 31, 2001 Last year in October a day after my b-day. I have decided to take control of what my body can have and can't have. I am a chocolate lover. I use to have to have chocolate every day and more than one kind of chocolate. Well, I've told my body that I will go without chocolate, chips, cookies, etc for a whole month and when my month is up out of that week, I can treat myself to whatever. My body has gotten use to not having it that I could pass in the front of a chocolate cake and not crave it. Say if I decided to not have sweets or anything else that I love to eat starting September 1, then when October 1 comes along, I can have whatever I want, but whatever day I end my treat, that's the date I can have my treat again the next following month. It works for me. People that knew how much I would eat junk food, would be like " How do you do it? " It's by the Grace Of God. He helps me.
