Guest guest
Is there a negative side to receiving the benefits? For instance, as a parent, if we apply and are granted benefits and our child improves with his/her therapy and as able to go into the work force as a young adult, is there a negative impact that the past benefits could have on them as an adult or young adult? Has anyone gotten into this age group and experienced or heard of any negatives associated with it? We are one of the families that went down an income too. I quit work, but it was more because my grandmother could no longer care for him, he got his dx, we needed to transport him to his summer ESY and then along came more programs for transportation, etc. and now even with him in kindergarten, I still can't return to work full time (my husband is in retail). Thanks for all of your time and ALL OF THE CLONIDINE responses! I've appreciated all of them and quite relieved after reading them! We haven't started it because my little man is sick right now so we're behind schedule. Hmmm we are not married but live together as a family. Together we make > about $24,000/year with 2 children. I wonder if this is too much > although I barely work now because I have to be home with him he is 2 > yrs old > > > > > > > > > http://mommy2mommy.ning.com/group/autismmommy > A new group on a new site for the Autism Mommy. > > > > > > --------------------------------- > You rock.
