Guest guest
Remember the thread about wheatgrass and healthy teeth? Here's a bit of info from a dentist about other foods that are good for your teeth: Dr. De Vizio DMD of Colgate Answered: Some of the best foods to eat for healthy gums and teeth include a diet high in fiber such as whole grain breads and cereals and beans. Fruits high in vitamin C are especially good for your gums, including pears, oranges and kiwi. One of the best foods for your gums and teeth is celery and other vegetables like broccoli, peas and green leafy vegetables. Eating cheese also helps manage the pH of your mouth. Drink plenty of water which hydrates gums and stimulates the production of saliva. Other healthy foods for your gums include grape seed, green tea, onions, shitake mushrooms and parsley and mint.
