Guest guest
Hey Becky. I had oozing about the same time at the bottom of my incision. It is normal. I kept it covered and it healed in about a week. It was a light pinkish/orange in color as well. **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home. Guest guest
Becky, all is normal. Mine oozed for two months after, which Dee told me it could do. So don't worry. Guest guest
Becky, That is serosanguinous fluid and it is normal. Your incision might pull apart a little bit there, but I wouldn't worry about it. This happens sometimes. Marta
Guest guest
It's normal to have some drainage. Unless it's really green, or clearly puss, or bloody, be calm. Becky, I, too, had a wee bit of oozing and was told to not worry. Then one day standing at the sink a fountain erupted from my incision. I spouted about a gallon of liquid that sprayed my kitchen from one end to the other. I thought I was a gonner -- scared the harry heck out of me. When I called the office, our Dee said, " Did a lung come out? " When I said, " no, " she replied, " then what are you worried about? " Such compassion! LOL I used " preemie " diapers as they were the most absorbent and the easiest dressings to deal with. Dr. K told me that the diapers were a brilliant idea. Keep the faith, Becky and enjoy the ride -- with all the oddities that come with it. _____________________________ © 2008 The contents of this email message, including any and all attachments, are intended solely for the use of the person or entity to whom the email was addressed. Guest guest
She is serious. Mine came out looking like pure white slugs. Scared me. Also I had five holes opened up down my incision. When I would go in and doc would put his Q-tips in my all in a row, now that looked weird. I drained, as I said, for two months. And I had several of the white fat slugs that came out. Maybe you will have them, and maybe not. We are all different. They are harmless Pearl **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home.
