You HAD to tell me that, didn't you, Melody, you troublemaker, you! I would love

that. I wish I had my Grandma's recipes - many written on the backs of

envelopes. Those were what I used the summer I learned to bake at her house when

I was about 11. Sometimes I get out my Mom's old recipe box (made in shop class

by a friend's daughter way back when) and just remember all the times she or I

have made one of the recipes. I love the ones that are in her own handwriting -

comforting in a special way.

I'll let you know if I get anyone else's Grandmas' old recipes in a tin!

You know what you should look for?? Go to ebay and see if anyone is selling

their great grandma's old recipe tins (with recipes included)

You'd LOVE that!!!

I was really thanking you because I found a new recipe there! I can't get enough

it seems. I will never live long enough to try even 1/100th of the recipes I've

copied and cut out and saved through the years, but I can't get rid of them. If

I'm ever bored (not often, for sure!), I love to get a box or book of recipes

and just read through them. It's interesting and relaxing. I could be the most

boring person you'll ever meet!  (It's OK if you agree - lol)

You are thanking me for a site that indicates one cup of quinoa has 117 grams of

carbs and over 600 calories.

Thanks for that site, Melody! I've printed the Mediterranean quinoa recipe -

sounds delish to me!

Hi.

I must have lost my mind. I found this website that gives all nutrition info

about quinoa. Look at the carbs.

I would love to hear anyone explain this to me.
