Guest guest
Hi! My name is Dengler. I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Penn State University. I work with Dr. Drager. We hope that you can help us with some exciting research. We would like to learn about the experience of being a parent of an adult with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We recognize that parents have many different experiences, and we are interested in learning about the perspectives of parents of individuals with Autism across the lifespan. We are inviting parents of individuals with an ASD to join an online discussion group. We want to learn about the experiences of those parents and how they compare to parents in similar situations. We would like to learn about the issues that parents feel are unique and specific to having a child with an ASD. We would also like to learn about issues unique to have adult children with ASD. We plan to share what we learn with each participant and other parents of children with ASD. We are currently looking for parents of adults with ASD to participate in a discussion group that will begin in the next few weeks. At this time, we are looking specifically for parents of adolescents and adults with ASD. If you are a parent of an adult with ASD, please consider participating in this important study. For more information, please e-mail me using my Penn State e-mail address, at lfd116@.... Thanks,
