Guest guest
Hi Rob, Personally if I forget to take the dose in the morning I take it as soon as I remember. As the day went on, I felt worse and worse, and I couldn't explain it, until this morning when I could barely get out of bed, I realized that I didn't take it yesterday. Today I am paying the price. If this happens again, and I remember later on that same day, should I take it ASAP, or will that give me problems when I take my next regular dose?Yesterday wasn't a rushed morning, in fact, my daughter wasn't even home, it was just my wife and I, getting ready to go to church, at a nice unrushed pace. Oh well, live and learn!By the way, I talked to my RD on Friday, and my liver enzymes are now closer to were they need to be. He wanted me to wait until tomorrow (Tuesday) before I drop from 35 mg to 30 mg of pred., I'll need to talk to him today and see if that's what he still wants to do after yesterdays brain fart!RobVisit the Still's Disease Message Boardhttp://disc.server.com/Indices/148599.htmlThe materials and information contained in this message are not intended to replace the services of a trained health professional or to be a substitute for medical advice of physicians and/or other health care professionals. Guest guest
Rob; I think it says for most medications that if you remember close to the time to take it go ahead but if it is closer to your next dose do not. Ask your doctor about this and I hope your dose today lets you feel better. Melt ----- Original Message ----- From: Rob Linger Yesterday morning, I forgot to take my prednisone! Guest guest
Hi Rob. I would take it as soon as you remember but don't double the dosage the next day if you forget. I also did a "dumb" thing like this back in May or June when I got P O'd about my "physique" going away and all of the other beautiful side effects such as irritability and restlessness. I stopped taking the Prednisone cold turkey. I made it a whole day and a half before I crashed to the point where I was close to winding up in the "resort" again. I am still on 20 mg/day and can't wait to get off of them!!! Kirk. I did something STUPID! Yesterday morning, I forgot to take my prednisone!
