so you just keep going, you are doing great!!!!

Pat, Doll, You are one of my biggest inspirations on this group. I see you

still losing after the window, and you like me seem so amazed at the losses. I

am a success now. The plastics will just be the icing on the cake to

me...LOL.(Or is it gravy jo?) I won't be 2 years until Dec.

One thing I have noticed lately is this....I was suggested to try

magnesium for muscle pain. It isn't helping the muscle pain, but the bouncing of

weight...5-10 lbs have decreased to 1-3 lbs instead...Wonder if it's just a

coincidence?

On the upside, I have been rid of the vac for more than a week, and a lot of

the pain is going and I am mobile, if leaking! LOL I wish you were here with

me, too. Think good thoughts about sisters...grrrr.

Leave it to you, , to be in such pain and to come up with a

hysterically funny line! The hip/leg pain do sound very like my sciatica pain

(just

missing a few spots). It sounds like the car ride may have caused a flare up

even if you didn't notice it at the time. I think you have two courses of

action

-- do something to break the flare (ER, shot in the hip -- although that

might not work because the pain is probably coming from you back, though you

don't

feel it there). You could try some gentle stretches (which is ALWAYS easier

said than done, since it HURTS). Or it may be time for a complete CT scan and

see what is happening with your back now. It probably is also time for a

DEXA scan so you know your bone density.

I hope you get better soon, . I know how debilitating chronic pain is

and how terribly depressing it is to live with.

Big hugs and blessings,

Ann

Hi ,

I'm so sorry your worries about your health continue. No, you don't sound

like a hypochondriac, just someone with on-going health care issues. I wish you

all the best in finding what is wrong, and I hope Dr. K's office responds to

you regarding the referral to the gastroenterologist.

I'm glad your prescription medication coverage will start and you will be

able to get the medications you need for your health. (Don't break a leg rushing

to the pharmacy, though! LOL) Once you get some rest, things will be a

little easier, I believe.

Ah, my kingdom for unlimited money! I wish you had the money to get the

plastics you want...they are SO expensive. I wish you luck with at least

getting

part of it covered by insurance. (More than the $900.)

Hugs and blessings,

Ann

Lovely Maree...

Stuff advise from other people, (my apologies to your daughter!). I never listen anymore to what people say. Everyone has wonderful advise on how I could loose weight... don't eat, exercise etc.. Yeah Right !!!!!!!! We don't think like that do we! Some people are so thoughtless.

It is definately an addiction. I told my surgeon that I had the opposite to anorexia, and how come I wasn't treated like those poor people are treated???

I am a food addict. I would not have admitted that until I met everyone on this message board. I have always eaten in solitude and in private. I never ate in front of people. Anorexics do the same in reverse... eat in front of people and rid themselves of it later. We eat behind closed doors.

Maree... you will never go back to what you were.

I'm taking your advice and heading to the club. I might go to the

coast for a few days too. I have to be home Saturday for a farewell

lunch as my darling brother, whom I adore, and his wife are heading

off (3rd time) around Oz for 2 years. I will need strength and

stamina to face the masses on Tuesday so might use the between time as

r & r. M.
