Acetone question, chemist needed

Yes, Marge. And further, we know for sure that keeping it covered longer

than 3 days is not a health threat, as a general rule. If of course it

ever does smell like something frightful, and by that I mean if it's turned

nasty, then by all means throw it out, someplace where it won't injure

anything.

I guess if people complain about the smell or taste, we should determine if

it's acetone? How does that ever happen? Does it actually happen? I've

not had that happen.

I tried to Google the situation but really don't have chemistry enough to

put it together.
