Guest guest
Darcy, Can't help you on the alcohol recipe much. Maybe you could just try to make trash can punch Recipe at bottom (also works good with lemonade..I make it in a big cooler lol). As for the bridal games. One thing that was done at my bachelor party was a notebook was past around that had some suggestive stickers and every girl gave me uh hem advice.... ;-) (not that I have had many oppurtunities to use it with my husband being gone, but the mailman is happy) Also theme gifts, stuff the bride to be would be way too embarrassed to buy for herself. Turn that into a game, play it like charades and make her guess what it is. If you have a Spencer's Gifts near you they have a ton of that type of fun yet naughty stuff. lol. And of course you can always play " I never.... " a Trash Can Punch Type: Punch Ingredients: 2 bottles of Everclear 2 bottles of Vodka (100 Proof) 12 cans of Hawaiian Fruit Punch Strawberries (Lots!) 12 Oranges (Sliced) 1 Watermelon (Sliced) Grapes (Lots!) Instructions: Wash out a brand new trash can, mix the punch and the spirits together. Then cut the fruit up and add them to the mix. Let set for at least 1 hour (the longer it sits the more potent the fruit get). Serves a whole party. << I am having a bridal shower/bachlorette party for one of my best friends next month and am wondering if anybody has any crazy ideas on what to play or do. I also am looking for a good alcoholic wop recipe. I have no clue how to spell it - you know, the drink that has a lot of different kinds of alcohol in it and fruit that you serve in a punch bowl. Is it " wopatooey " or somthing like that?... Darcy who thinks there is probably people laughing right now reading the word that I just tried to spell.. >> Check out our website at: http://www.members.truepath.com/Crabtrees/home.html
Guest guest
For a bridal shower, you could put on some music that you listened too when your friend during her teenage years. Serve alot of finger food and for the punch, you can make a good sangria. Sangria requires wine, if you choose red, then use fruit punch, if white wine, go for white grape juice. 750 ml of wine 750 ml of juice 375 ml of club soda 1 orange sliced 1 lime sliced 1 lemon sliced other fresh fruits like apples, strawberries, etc. maraschino cherries (optional) Ice, plenty of it. Mix all the ingredients together except for the club soda. Let it sit in the fridge for an hour so the flavors can mix. You can serve in a large punch bowl or in a pitcher. In the last 4 years, 3 of my boyfriends siblings have gotten married so I've been to a few showers...and yes he is the last one <G> One game that always seems to go over well is " making a bride's dress with toilet paper " . I'm sure it has a real name, but that's what I'll call it for now. You divide into groups and 1 person in each group is the " bride " and you pass out rolls of TP for them to make a dress on her with. Another shower had some neat word games that the person got off the internet so you might do a search on bridal showers or something and see if you can find anything. Guest guest
Thank you Colleen, , and a for your responses. I am printing the messages out so I have them for good ideas. I have to have a great party for her because when I got married, she was also my Maid of Honor and she really got me. She had previously told us that she called " some strange company " and got a vehicle to pick us up and take us bar-hopping. She said she didn't know much about the company, except they were strange on the phone and real cheap. Well, she had one of her friends dress up in this skin-tight blaze orange suit and this huge awful wig and then he showed up at the party with this hay wagon! Nobody knew and my, you should have heard us... we were roaring!! We actually ended up piling in the hay wagon and then we were transported (about 5 miles going about 10MPH) to the real vehicle which was the back of a U-haul! It was a blast. Darcy who really needs to have some great ideas for the party to return the *favor*.. > I am having a bridal shower/bachlorette party for one of my best > friends next month and am wondering if anybody has any crazy ideas on > what to play or do.
