Guest guest
Okay, LA Girls (and guys), throw a number at me. What is an estimate cost for the trip do you think? I have never went to California and don't have any idea what to expect, except for what everybody has said here about motel costs and such. Can someone throw an approximate number at me. I understand that it will vary greatly on what you buy and where you go, but as for the basic cost, what do you think it would be? Another question is what are the odds that and the gang wouldn't be there? I certainly am very anxious to meet all of you, but if I went all the way to California would just HAVE to be there too When will we know for sure if he will be around that weekend? Darcy who know if she is already feeling *jealous* about not going will REALLY be feeling it when the time comes more closer... so I am really really going to try.. Guest guest
October would be better for me too. For me it's health reasons. I am extremely sensitive to heat (anything above 80 degrees and I get sick) and August is just plain too HOT for me. :o/ I think if you worked with the WTC setting up this pilgrimage, they might just make special scheduling arrangements for all the participants. It's worth a try anyway. ) Carol << Oh Shannan, I would be secretly happy if you guys rescheduled till October!!! Guest guest
> Okay, LA Girls (and guys), throw a number at me. What is an estimate > cost for the trip do you think? Darcy, I'm not really sure what the total cost would be! Let's see... airfare: ???? That depends...I'm not sure what the fares are from where you are hotel: If you stay with 3 other people..you'll end up paying one night (that is if you go from Thu-Mon) so that will be about about $90 at the most car rental: that's about $30 (maybe 40 at the most) if you split it with others. Classes at the WTC: depending on how many you take...it's $12 a class...if you take one a day...that's $60 Food: I don't have any idea...LOL! Typically, we only go out to eat for Dinner. The hotel we are staying at this time has a complimentary breakfast bar, so that will be great. Lunch, I usually just get a jamba juice cause it's right down the street from the WTC and I LOVE Jamba Juice and don't have one here Plus, we will get a refrigerator in at least one room. We went to the grocery store when we were there before and stocked up on some things we could eat for lunch, etc. So, maybe $150 on food? I don't know..I'm pretty bad at estimates...LOL! Plus, however much you are going to spend at the WTC shop...LOL! And if you want a private session with or one of the other instructors! Anything else I'm forgetting? > > Another question is what are the odds that and the gang > wouldn't be there? Probably not until the end of July/beginning of August! I don't think they know his schedule until a few weeks before it! Basically, it's going to be a chance we're going to have to take because we're going to have to book our tickets before we know for sure! Also, the other thing we are going to have to wait and see about is the WMTC opening! I'm pretty sure the June opening is going to be pushed back and I've heard late July/beginning of August as the opening! Of course, if the WMTC is opening in August, we are going to want to re-schedule this trip because will be in MD! There is a WMTC meeting on May 6th that I'm going to, so I'll let you know if I find out a new opening date The one way to guarantee that will be there (if we have to re-schedule for the WMTC opening)is to go in October when they have the next Customer Appreciation Days! But, we'll just have to wait and see what we find out about the WMTC!

" I might actually be more willing to go to MD for the opening of the WMTC... one of my major problems (besides money) in going to LA is I have a conflict schedule... Gilbert is at a convention from August 15-20th, and it's out of town. I haven't been successful in finding someone to babysit who will confirm well in advance. This basically means I'm on stand-by for the LA trip... Janick who wants to wish Robbi welcome

Let me know if you want to get together the weekend of May 6th, (and/or if you need some place to stay). Elena > >

Guest guest
Thank you so much . The cost doesn't sound so000 bad, but for me the big thing is the timing. October would have been much better for me also.... Don't you guys want to do a SECOND trip then...lol Darcy > > Okay, LA Girls (and guys), throw a number at me. Sounds, llike a protest to me!!!! If they can have Starbucks, McYD's, BK, etc. on every corner in America, why not something that's ACTUALLY healthy!!!!!!! They just opened one not too far from me, so although it's a bit out of the way, it's better than having to go to Arden or Natomas )!!!!! Sandie, Tae and Bo )!!!!!! ===== " Believe.
