You are not the only one with this type of theory. One line of thought was he

had a Whipple procedure (removal of bottom of stomach, part of the pancreas and

bile ducts) due to pancreatic cancer. This procedure can cause a back wash of

bile's into the remaining stomach causing problems. So the line of thought is

that his recent last surgery he had a gastric bypass to correct the bile

backwash problem. After all...wls came about as a result of doctors doing

cancer surgery and finding patients lost weight, then they started tweaking the

surgery specifically for weight-loss.
