Guest guest
My non-OCD Child, who has s, & CP had anahylaxis to all dairy-thougfht to be caused by some protien in it. We were told if we could go 4-5 years with out a single accidental ingestion...she would robably out grow it. Very hard to do as kids are most at risk of geing exosed to their allergins at school. Then even the test dose at the end is scarry. Well we went 5 years & gave her a teaspoon of milk in the Dr's office..no resonse--so a mouthful of yogurt..then more mil--no response at all. That was 5 years ago. She does not drink milk..or like yogurt...but eats bread with mil in it, pizza, once in awhile ice cream, baed goods with milk in them, & chocolate--no probvlems other than lactose intolerance solved easily with a pill. We do go easy on dairy--but it is so much easier & less worry at school. now. Joy
Guest guest
Joy, Does your child with s Syndrome have telangiectasia or hemangioma? Did your child have repeated anaphylaxis? And this child does not have OCD?
