I remember showing Alan the item from a calalogue and he said " that's not for me " . I just read him what you all wrote. NOW HE'S INTERESTED. I'll update on this if I get one for him. It would not be for me. I never take anything with carbonation. And I'm not about to start. I recenty found out about a devise called Soda Stream. You can carbonate your own water. My son had one and I liked the taste of the water. I got it at Bed, Bath & beyond for about $100.
