Guest guest
Hi Jo and everyone, Recovery is good overall ! I have lost 26 pounds the first three weeks ! Biggest problem is I tire so easily and getting in my water. I am sure they go hand in hand. I am working on pushing the water. As far as what is different.. WOW A LOT ! I can eat about anything I want, just not much at a time. Probably 3-4 ounces of food depending on the density. This knee is still a BIG issue and I can't walk much because of it. I see the ortho doc on Monday. He is out of the office most of this week. He is the best in town and worth waiting for I guess. I am so slow getting things done at home because of the knee. Otherwise my incisions are all healed and looking fine. I am going to fire up the hot tub again tomorrow, as I am healed enough to get back in and maybe it will help the knee until I can be seen. I am so glad I did the revision, I just want some energy back. I need a daily nap ! Ginger <>< > > Ginger > > How's your recovery going? Have you been losing weight? What is different this time around? Can you tell I'm wanting an update on you? > > Pearl > > Hey Kiddo we need an update on you also. Are you still running a fever? Did they ever discover the reason behind it? I was reading that Iron deficiency can cause a low grade fever. > > Hopefully healing is going well and you girls are feeling just fine. > > Hugs > Jo >
Guest guest
Betsy, Tell Jac I said hi there ! Also feel free to tell himi that Warden screwed me up too, but now I am fixed ! I hope the weight loss continues. Dr Maguire kept saying " now remember revisions lose slower, so be patient " Yes this humidity is aweful isn't it ! It seems worse to me this year or it is because I do not feel top notch yet. Have a good time at the birthday party ! Ginger <>< > > > > Pearl. I hope your meeting with DrK gives you some answers... low grade fevers can be so draining. > > > Ginger... wow... how wonderful to have great results so soon. Â It is so hot here you could just stand outside and heat your knee joint... the humidity is on the rise too...yuck... this will be with us until Oct. Â Jac is having a birthday party Saturday. Â Steve and I are driving down... bout an hour plus away... down on Bayou Lafourche. Â >
