Special Conference Event: Fundamentals of TEACCH Presented by Dr. Mesibov, Director Division TEACCH Division TEACCH’s Structured Teaching Approach is being used with success in classrooms, residential facilities and homes throughout the world. By focusing on

developing a broad-based intervention strategy centered upon each particular child's specific skills, strengths, interests and needs, TEACCH makes learning and understanding more meaningful for children with ASD. Parents, therapists and educators are invited to explore the TEACCH Approach and discover how to recognize and understand the neurological learning styles of children with ASD; how to organize environments and learning activities so that they are more compatible with the way the individual child thinks, learns and understands; and how to extend the basic principles to facilitate learning in a variety of settings and curriculum areas, including communication and social interaction.
