My 11-yr. old son with OCD has had this fear for a few months- he is convinced he will not be able to stop himself from sticking his finger in an outlet and getting electrocuted! I have seen him tapping on outlets around the house. He has even said he doesn't want to get started on any big projects- that's how convinced he is that he is going to die! He has a WONDERFUL OCD specialist therapist- she has patients flying to North Texas from Colorado, California, etc. just to see her- but he ran out of appointments, and she was booked up through March...so he won't see her until April.
