Guest guest Posted February 7, 2008 Report Share Posted February 7, 2008 So my husband has these huge veins in this leg and they seem to really show themselves lumpy wise. Well, last night, my son noticed that he had this bump on his leg. I felt it and it felt like a vein and said it had been there for years. I dont remember that. Is it possible for veins to pop out looking like a lump? It felt like a vein but why would it look like that? He was in the hospital once for a staff infection in that area (cant remember which leg though- how awful of me) but it was red, hard and hot to the touch. If anyone knows me, they know I am thinking the big C word. Im such a hypochondriac. Even my son says so but he was thrown by the lump. What would make a vein look like that?
