Guest guest
Creme cheese is really easy to make. I just hang my kefir in a sprout bag over a bowl and use the whey in my slushies. Then I put my creme cheese in my Vita mix with whatever flavor I choose. I make wasabi, chilpotle and jalapeno. I have made it with lox. I can no longer have mayonnaise, so this is my substitute. I also make my own mayo with avocado and avocado or olive oil. My mechanic makes all of his jerky in the oven, he said he just turns it on the lowest setting and he has an oven temp gauge. My aunty used to dehydrate everything outside on window screens with cheesecloth covers. You do not need to have an aero garden to grow herbs. You can grow them in or on anything with just a wee bit of dirt of even hydroponically. It just takes more checking for moisture and keeping them not dry. I have been growing things for 30 years with little pots. I have an outside pot, usually ceramic and an inside pot with drainage holes. Sometime I put rocks in to drain into. The easy sprout is a perfect example of a very small growing pot combination if you elevate the inner pot and keep dumping the outer container. I did learn that the tortilla's do not keep well, they get all greasy, but they only take moments to make, so now I am making them fresh daily. Ok, nightly, I just let them dry until I get up and then flip them and by the time i am ready for work, they are ready to fill and go....
