Guest guest
We have found in reading that studies have shown that the " sweet tooth " is the last to go. Often even in alz patients when their appetite decreases, their craving for sweets is still there. I know my mother has a keen appetite for things sweet, as did Sandie's dad. Just a thought. and Sandie -- today we decide on Assisted Living Hey all, well I've talked my Mom into assisted living and we're going to pick out an apartment in a very nice place nearby. It even has a shuttle to our church because so many of the congregation live or work there. Now on to selling the condo and all the stuff that goes with that!! I'm SO stressed out. This morning I felt like I couldn't get a whole breath and my chest hurt. I did step back and do some deep breathing...helped a bit. I think that a lot of this is catching up with me. Question: Does alcohol affect LBD symptoms, making them much more extreme after just two drinks? I'm seeing that with my Mom and wondering if it is something we need to cut back on. She doesn't drink much at all but I've noticed her having more problems when at gatherings and having wine, etc. Hope your day holds all good things!
