Dear Grace,

No, my daughter almost never gets sick. I can't even remember the

last time she had anything, except maybe a runny nose sometime early in the

school year (or was that last year?). Her younger brother gets everything

that goes through the school though, so it's around.

How's that baby?

Our baby (Clara) is 7 weeks old now. You'd think a baby might be

difficult to handle in a household where I am already dealing with

the oldest girls' (14 and 10) anxiety disorders, but she is such a

content baby that she actually creates a calming effect on the girls

and everyone. The girls will sit and rock her, partcularly my oldest

after a trying day at school, and you can just see all their troubles

melt away when they look into her face and she smiles or drifts

peacefully off to sleep.
