Guest guest Posted December 18, 2007 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 Today I saw Dr. K for my one month update, but it has been six weeks since surgery. I have lost a total of 51 lbs since my surgery. I am so happy! I am now wearing a size 28-30 in pants. The changes are amazing!! I can go up my stairs without being out of breath, I can now keep up with my husband when we are walking. Dr. K said everything looks good, I just need to increase my protein in take. I liked the list that Jolene posted of important things to remember. I know that I, too, need to in crease my water in take, and I too, am working on it. There are days when " head hunger " just about kills me, when I am so tempted to eat things that I know I shouldn't. Some days I just cry because nothing sounds good that I can have, and I get so frusterated, but thankfully, those days are not too frequent. Any ideas, or recipes anyone has or suggestions of things that would be good to eat would be appreciated, sometimes it is so easy to get into a rut. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!!!
