,

I'm not as knowledgable about medications as some in this group, but

I do know that codeine can cause severe constipation in some people.

If you drop the sennokot, I'd watch this very carefully. Fosomax can

also cause intestinal problems.

Also, if leakage is a problem with incontinence, I recommend Molicare

brand diapers with Kiefer brand adult swim diapers over them. We

only get leak throughs once a month or so. Both of these have to be

purchased on line.

Swim diapers (over pants) can be found at:

Hope this helps,

Margee

Hi Margee

Thanks. I know codeine can cause constipation, but with 2 senokot

daily, it was almost a free for all. With the changes I have done,

she has a BM once daily now. I watch daily for changes though. She

drinks pineapple juice at breakfast. This also helps naturally,

plus it is a favourite of hers. The problem with getting the bed

wet is not leakage. She takes the diaper off and pee's on side of

bed and floor, then goes to bathroom. Thanks for your help.

Thanks all. I am just having to adjust to the fact that I can't control

what this body does. It is controlling me and what I can do and I think that

just flat sucks!!! I so wanted to go to TN for Mothers Day. Oh welll... my

health is more important. I can go later, and I will. Will let you all know

what they find out, when and if they find anything out.
