Guest guest Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 I am new and I have a 6 year old daughter who was diagnosed with OCD. We have been seeing a therapist since she was 3 because she wouldn't eat. The doctor classified her as having generalized anxiety until just a year ago. Things got worse just before kindergarten began. We have worked through a lot of issues and it seems that once one thing is fixed then something else breaks loose. I am searching for some support because our family is hurting. I also have a 4 year old son who appears to be fairly ok so far. OCD is a family thing and most others don't seem to understand OCD. They automatically think of the traditional characateristics of OCD and not the lesser known things. I could write on forever about our situation, but I am just getting started and need some support.
