Guest guest
Hi ....I have been on Lexapro for about 4 months. I take 10 mgs a day. I have not had any bad side effects from this med. In fact it has helped me. I was having major anxiety with all thats going on with my illness and just life in general. As a matter a fact I feel more calm and my family has noticed the change in me. I have been lucky with most of my meds, excluding the prednisone, I havent had any bad effects. I have a question I want to throw out there.......Has anyone had a problem with breaking out with blemishes either from the MTX or PRED>??????? Guest guest
Carey, Hi, my name is from NJ. I now live in LA. I'm 27 and have had JRA since I was 13. I am also on Methotrexate, Lexapro, Folic Acid(that I always forget to take), and Humira. The Remicade didn't work for me, in fact it did nothing. I'm glad it's working for you though. Do you like Lexapro? Do you have any side affects from it? I've been on and off of it for a few months. My wrists have been killing me and my doctor told me I have carple tunnel even though I don't spend hours on a computer. It's weird. Write soon, -------------- Original message -------------- Carey, I'm so glad to hear that Remicade has worked for you, since that is the next step for me w/my doc. What I was wondering is, have you had any side effects from it? A nurse told me that most of the side effects occur during the infusions. I will be seeing my doc on Thursday, and I thought it would be helpful to know about your experience so I can talk with him about it. Thanks for the warm welcome! My pain is now more tolerable, if any......I also am taking Methotrexate, Celebrex, Lexapro, Folic acid. Guest guest
With Mtx I did notice often while out in sun I could break out in funny weird rash,I was bad no sun block(not that I need it now!!feels like December lol). Also Stills itself often caused my face itself to breakout red some days too.Not sure if these are the blemishes,I can also remember little sores, like ones an ingrown hair would leave.Pred reduction can cause Acne also I do believe, although haven't noticed myself. My hair is getting awful thin though,if it moves any further South, ill have to go bald, you take care. Guest guest
Hi , My name is B. I''ve had still's for a while. I was taking the usual meds and was still achy and tired. They started me on Humira a couple months ago and I've been able to give up MTX and lower my pred use and i'm feeling much more alert and with less pain. I don't know if I should hold my breath or what, but it sure is nice to feel somewhat normal. I still get tired if I overdue things, but it's 90% better. Hope it helps you as well. Best of luck!! B. P.S. It does sting, but it is worth it.
