Guest guest
Hello All! I'm new to sprouting and this will be my very first sprouting attempt. I'm using the Mason jar method. I noticed that Sproutpeople.org doesn't have any growing information on carrots and doesn't sell carrot seeds. There isn't much info on the web for sprouting carrots. I bought organic carrot seeds and I'm wondering how to sprout them? Is it same method as other root sprouts such as onion or leak? I would appreciate any help offered. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi. You deep fry with Olive Oil? I have NEVER heard anyone do this. Not that I think anything is wrong with that, but I've never heard anyone deep fry with it. Do you have any sources? It is shelf stable unlike some other oils. I deep fry and saute with it, amoung other regular uses. It's been used since the Bible times and is considered very healthy. The only other fat we use is real butter. I mix half butter and half olive oil to make a spread that tastes as good as butter, but less fat. My friends, family & and I have been doing this for over 20 years. Beverly Texas Re: Growing Carrot Sprouts n, lol, you must not be from the South. Bacon fat is STAPLE that I will never go without(God willing). I make up for it by hiking often. A little fat never hurt anyone! Guest guest
I do. I know that deep fry foods are really good for you, so I want to use the best I can. I don't do it may 2-3 times a year.
