Guest guest
I love Cilantro in thai fried rice, and my indian dishes, too. I have recently fallen in love with smoked paprika, too. Amazing what that does to any number of things - I used it and a little salt on some lightly sauteed Lentils and it was scrumptuous. Pam > Pam,Thank you for your advice about the cilantro. I first had it when I started cooking Vietnamese food. I love the stuff. I also put it in things one doesn't normally put it in (I mix it up with sprouts and then mix that into whatever I am eating). We never really had any herbs in our food when I was growing up. My Mom was of Irish/German descent and we were steak and potatoes and pasta eaters (Dad was Italian). The idea of running out of tomatoes and herbs now is enough to send me into a panic. marion > >
