Guest guest
Ok everyone this is some fun and to get to know each other a little better. I hope you all will join in. Robyn sent this to the Central Coast Group, I thought you lot would have a bloody ball with this one, I'm waiting Maree and Ghyll ............. What I would like is for anyone that wants to, is to share with us all the four people(and at a pinch five) that taught you the most and or had the most effect on your life. I will start by sharing mine. It can be anything anyone teachers parents, friends are a good place to start.... just what touched you the most when your were young...or when you were older that shaped who you are or had a overwhelming influence on you and your life. Here is my list, I could add many more people but the below is what came straight to mind..... Nanna Bower: She would give my son what for now, for being so horrid to me, she may have only been 4'10" but she was the head of the family till she died in 1971, one never argued with Nan, I was laid on my bum a few times when I tried, but she loved us all equally, I loved the fact that I was grandchild number 13 Mum: I never appreciated this magnificient woman till after she died, it's been 30 years this June, I miss her so much it hurts. Maud Grey: Maud was my first Charge Nurse when I started nursing 35 years ago, she was an absolute diamond of a lady, rough as guts but a heart of gold, she died of cancer and I moulded myself on her when I became a Charge Nurse, thanks Maudie you helped me turn out the way I am rightly or wrongly Bruce: so I could poison the swine of a thing My Soul Mate: I really think it's about time we met and got it on........ I'm not getting any younger here at this table, even when the lights are on I don't eat much. Hugs Rob No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
