Please always double check this lab and make sure the correct one was noted. Vitamin D: (25-hydroxy) is what you WANT. ...aka: 25(OH)D...or..25-hydroxyvitamin D. What you do NOT want is a 1,25-dihydroxy-vitamin D. If you see the " 1 " or the " di " in you vitamin D lab orders then it is the WRONG test.
