People also are taking out too much and causing the band to slip and

causing obstructions. I talked to a lady who " lost " the port to her band and

they found it later during an appendectomy....Scarey. I think the Band is very

close to the VBG results I had early. It is surgically induced bulemia. When

you over eat you hurt or vomit. I remember those days well. projectile

vomiting and Acid reflux that rose in my chest after sleep and waking up

choking on

aspirated acid. Sounds fun...Don't it?

Finding out about the DS.

I first found out about this procedure while watching a plastic surgery

show. So I knew there were options. After a dear friends' husband

asked me a question about the surgery I could not answer I went on

internet research overload. She had an RNY and has been successful. So

for me my decision was made because I knew what kinds of foods I ate,

can anybody say CARBS.lol. So when I discovered how all the surgeries

worked as well as the risk individual to each surgery I knew the DS was

for me.
