Thanks Bob and Terry, I was able to get someone out here to cover that part of the roof, it's not going to cost as much as i thouhgt, he said $400.00 they are going to repair it tomorrow from the best i can understand it blew off a metal piece that is right over the ridge i think they called it a ridge vent, and when it pulled it loose it pulled up the nails also and that left the holes where the rain came in. he went into my attic, and said he was really suprised that he didnt find hardly much water damage, the insulation seems fine tohim. i hope he is truthful, i cant get into the attic myself, and if i could i wouldnt know what to look for anyway. but they are going to recover the exposed area with a new piece and shingles. Then later i found out on the street behind my house a tree fell on the peoples house and caused alot of damage, and then the street over from them, all in a line, so they think a tornado was coming down right on top of us that caused the path of the houses that all had damage. I originally just thought it was my house cause my next door neighbors looked fine, i did hear the awful noise when the wind was blowing bad. IM just glad it wasnt any worse. while watching the local news i see alot of homes around savannah had trees down on their houses etc.

Terry i hope you will get power soon, we lost power several times, but only for short bursts, i think 2 hours was the longest, but it did it so many times, i thought something would eventually blow out. i hope this other hurricane stays away, but i worry too bob for your area. it's times like this that makes me wish i still lived in alaska!! i think it gets to me more cause im here by myself, i dont think i would have been as worried about the roof if my husband had been here and he could have checked things out himself. im hurting so bad tonight, i think the stress brought on the pain. just that all over pain, i think its the fibro. i will be so glad when they finally get my appointments made with the new rheumy down here and i can get a mri done on my hip, well take care everyone

has anyone heard from dave? he lives in florida, i think closer to miami though. i know we have others from florida that no longer post. there are some from georgia too but rarely post also. i'd love to do a roll call, kind of a check in but it would create way too much mail i think...

has anyone talked with sue#2 lately?
