Guest guest
Hi Peggy, Again, so sorry to hear the latest. I think you will know more when you get the results of the CT scan and will have a better understanding of what avenue to go. Last summer I ran into a friend I hadn't seen in quite awhile. We got to talking and she told me she had just had gallbladder surgery. I then told her about the liver cleanses. She's pretty much into health stuff. Anyway, she told me she had had an attack and DID do a liver cleanse. Followed the cleansed to the letter and passed many stones. Some time after that she had another attack. Got to thinking and decided to have another ultrasound to see if the stones where still there. They were. The same ones she saw before doing the cleanse. She went ahead and had the surgery. Her words were, " I guess God is trying to tell me something. Ok, Lord, I'll have the surgery. " Now I don't know what to tell you. Like I said, tho, I think you will know more after you get the results back. It might be something else is causing the pain. I wonder, tho, why the pain went away when you did the flush. When I was having gallbladder attacks, they would come and go. Some would only last 5 minutes, others 5 hours, others days. The doctor told me whenever the stone gets stuck in the duck, it causes the pain. Whenever it gets jarred loose, the pain goes away. If that is the case with you, could be another stone got stuck. Still I wonder since it flared up after you ate, might be something else causing the pain. Personally, I'm glad you're getting it checked out. Back to my friend, tho, I couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if she had done other cleanses and see if that would have taken care of it. I can't fault anybody for going the surgery route. Like I said before, that pain can be so bad it will have you begging for the surgery and willing to sell you house to pay for it! But living without a gallbladder and now know the importance of it, I wish for everybody to be able to keep theirs. As always, God be with you. Gail the latest > My liver/gb cleanse was finished yesterday, and I felt okay though I could tell my stomach/solar plexus region was still extremely sensitive. So I took it really, really easy and ate very lightly. Around 6:30 I did finally eat one cup of chicken soup. It was very mild, but it felt about an hour later as though I'd eaten a 12 course meal. I awoke in the middle of the night with the same pain and bloated feeling I'd been having for the past two weeks. It would appear that the cleanse didn't do what I was hoping, namely get rid of the pain. I'm supposed to have the results of the CT scan tomorrow, and of course if that's not informative enough they'll want to do more tests. I always have the option of saying no--it's up to me. But you begin to get desperate when you can't eat. Does anyone have any ideas about this now? I released probably 500-700 stones yesterday, which should have helped a lot. But no dice. > > Peggy > > >
Guest guest
Dear Peggy, The second set of stones has moved down and is ready to clean out. Normally, I would say wait two weeks between liver cleanses, but your case is acute, so I would say take a chance and do another one on Tuesday. On Monday, eat some nice salads with cottage cheese to build you up a bit. Best of Health!
