First off, thanks for all the love, prayers and support of my DS family. You

don't know how much it meant to me. I really did go through hell and back. I

am on the up swing again. I did not expect to live at one point, but am not

doing better. Things will come through in time. I will be in bed for some time

at my brothers, on a wound vac unit. Doc K said I will be on it for at least

a month. They say my wound looks good, but not too me. It is pretty nasty

looking. I will be glad when it is all over and done with. I had had a panni

removal with a small hernia repair done. Then how then big hernia thing tore

the fascia I don't know, but for quite some time I had been complaining and I

was told it was just liquid swelling. Well it came down to emergency surgery,

which was bad. I had some problems with getting foods and such at the

hospital. I was NEVER asked what I wanted. I requested yogurt for two days and

didn't get any. Then after the ruckus made on this board I suddenly got two on

one

day without even asking. I also like Jim had that snotty night nurse. She

really refuses to do much of anything to help you. My last night there I

refused to even talk or call her. I wanted nothing to do with her. There were

some

that were real sweethearts though. One of the cleaning ladies, , she

helped me a couple of times, when it wasn't even her job. She was just a caring

lady. There was a young gal named Maybell that taught me an easy way to get

in an out of bed, but trying to get others to let me do it that way was hard,

because it required them to put the side railing down.

Main thing is, it is all over, I am on my way up again. I will just be on

limited abilites for quite some time. But I will be okay eventually. I have

home health coming every other day to change my wound vac for me.

I have to get back to bed. Thanks again for all you love and support. Thanks
