Guest guest
Hello all! Since I am almost two weeks post-op, I thought that I would share some recipes to help make those protein shakes go down, especially for those who will be having their operations tomarrow. Good Luck to you both, and God Bless!! Peanut Butter Cookie 2 scoops vanilla protein powder 8oz plain or vanilla flavored soy milk 1 tbsp peanut butter 1-2 tbsp sugar-free butterscotch flavored pudding ice cubes Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth. Add more soy milk, water or ice if you want a thinner shake. PB & J 2 scoops vanilla protein powder 8oz soy milk or water 1tbs peanut butter 1 tsp any flavored sugar free jelly add ice if desired Blend in blender and Enjoy! This last one is for the holidays Holiday Pumpkin Pie 2 scoops vanilla or plain protein 1 tsp pumpkin spice (or just cinnamon) 1 tsp splenda brown sugar 8 oz yogurt (or soy milk if desired) 4-6 ice cubes * add 1/4 canned pumpkin pack for more true pumpkin flavor and orange color or blend in baked yam. If you like chocolate-use the vanilla or plain protein and just add unsweetened cocoa and sugar substitute. Also to add flavor with out adding sugar and calories or carbs, use exracts-like vanilla extract, almond extract, mint, ect. It takes being creative sometimes. I have a few more recipes that I havent tried, as soon as I do, and if they are good, then I will pass them on. Hope all is well with everyone. God Bless.
