Steve, there are some tricks to help your neck when doing ab

floorwork. Hold a towel in both hands behind your neck to support

it. Or, pretend you have a grapefruit or orange under your neck to

maintain the correct angle. Or, keep your head up (rather than pointing

towards the floor) and look to the ceiling as you come up. Think about

relaxing your neck while doing ab work. Good luck!

It's good to hear that you are liking this tape better Steve :)

Floorwork is definitely tough. I see that Elena gave you some great

tips about your neck, but I also wanted to add that the stronger your

abs get the less stress will be put on your neck. My neck used to

get sore too, but now it barely ever does and I believe that is

because of form and simply because my abs are stronger.

Darcy who did EVERY set and REP in the touch your toes part in AL5

FINALLY - YA-HOO!!! It has taken nearly a year, but I did it!!

Thank you Elena, yes, it sure did feel great!! It felt so weird to

be able to do it that I started doubting myself " hmm.... my form must

be way off today " ...lol...

Darcy who wants to remind everyone how much she loves this group of

wonderful people :)

but I have heard MANY horror stories about it. I still struggle a

great deal with floorwork, but I'm pretty sure that's because I

usually avoid it. You must have been so proud once you realized that

it was almost over and you still had something left! :)
