July 19th - a VERY special day

Dear friends

To me, JULY 19th 2004 is a miracle day.

When my darling daddy was diagnosed with LBD in August 2001 I had NEVER heard of

the monster. I trawled the internet and discovered an amazing place of sanctuary

.... the caregivers site.

I thank God for this site every day. Even though I watched my father die the

most ghastly, horrific death to this bastard disease, in my heart I had the

courage and strength to fight on BECAUSE of the support here.

Then, in the words of Luther King, " I had a dream " - that one day this

group would have the opportunity to meet with those pioneers in LBD research so

that together in honour of all our loved ones, we could tell the world about

Lewy Body.

Well, in my eyes, July 19th marks the start of seeing that dream come true. When

Peggy and meet Prof. Ian Mc in Philadelphia and when the

International Scientific Advisory Board on LBD is formed it will be a day of

MIRACLES!

EVERYONE here is part of this monumental step forward.

It is profoundly moving and humbling to know that there are people out there who

want to listen and learn with US - we are , LBD is Goliath.
