They will be back in August. I am doing well, haven't been alone without at least one of them since was born! I feel so free! I still miss them, but is not bad. I needed to take some time to relax and concentrate on other things in my life. I was reliving my dad's illness constantly through the group and I don't think that was healthy for me. It is sad to see so many new people and know what they are going through. There is a time for everything: A time to stay and put all my heart and soul into the group, and a time to stay away and heal myself. I see that you and I seem to have the same time schedule. Guest guest Posted July 15, 2004 Report Share Posted July 15, 2004 Josie, so glad to 'see' you here,it's amazing how we're still on the coincidence road with each other and although i've been away i too have sneeked a peek now and then at the group and think about you on the 18th of each month. I'm glad to be back though and at times felt very selfish because the group became my godsend when i joined and i couldn't have got through the last eight months of granda's life with everyone here but i needed time to sit back and take in what had happened. When granda was alive time seemed to almost stand still and there were times when i wished for him to go simply so he wouldn't suffer and then i would cry with shame at having thought that way, now he's gone i can sit back and remember particular days and events like standing him up to change his pad and that turning into a dance and singsong! Whenever i hear Dean sing 'Little Ole Wine Drinker' he's instantly here at my side and i swear i could almost sense him dancing beside me, funny how the small things become our greatest memories!
