Guest guest
hi there. i've dug through the archives but didn't come up with much. my husband is trying to lose weight-it's all in the belly/breast area (he's 37) and i am wondering if there are things that he should/can be taking to help him. we eat pretty good (and making progress all the time) except when he is working crazy hours. we try eat fresh, to buy organic when we can and following food combining as well and juice veggies and fruit , parasite cleanses etc. however no matter what i have done to help him over the last say 4 years since we changed our lifestyle.... it doesn't seem to make a significant difference. Soooo he finally decided to join a gym a few months ago, goes 3 nights a week and hired a guy to help him. I admire his committment since he despises gyms and swore he'd never get on a treadmill. LOL He has lost an inch or so but i know he has mentioned he burns out and can almost fall asleep during his workouts. He does follow a 'vitamin' schedule from our naturopath and spirulina seems to have helped this past week but then I have read about carnitine, magnesium, arginine etc. and there is so much info, it's hard to know what is true and or what can be harmful.... Any thoughts, suggestions to help us out would be great! thanks wendy canada
Guest guest
Hi , I didn't have a breakthrough on the weight/stomach/blood pressure front until I went on a serious juice and broth fast lasting a month. That was last year. This year I went on another one. The result is that my body has set a new weight plateau it tries to stay at. And I am so much healthier. Everything I had tried before, like your husband, fell short. Because you will likely ask me what were the details of the fast, I'll simply refer you to www.fasting.com where I registered and gained the knowledge and guidance to accomplish this. I'm also on a continuous bowel cleanse program. Guest guest
Get a rebounder. There is no better total exercise. I have lost 20 lbs in past 2 months even though I have not rebounded for past 3 weeks due to a calf injury. Read up on it. Kallie sells them or go to http://www.cellercise.com/ , read it, then call and speak to them. Mention my name and IRI gets $40 referral for the charity - not the reason I am recommending it. It simply makes the most sense and plan to take it slowly (5-10lbs per month max. - for 10-20 mins per day) Good luck, Ken -- Original Message ----- To: <oxyplus > Sent: Thursday, April 25, 2002 11:23 AM Subject: weight loss help > hi there. i've dug through the archives but didn't come up with much. > my husband is trying to lose weight-it's all in the belly/breast area > (he's 37) and i am wondering if there are things that he should/can > be taking to help him. > > we eat pretty good (and making progress all the time) except when he > is working crazy hours. we try eat fresh, to buy organic when we can > and following food combining as well and juice veggies and fruit , > parasite cleanses etc. however no matter what i have done to help him > over the last say 4 years since we changed our lifestyle.... it > doesn't seem to make a significant difference.
