Guest guest
Ken, I do think chromotherapy or colored light therapy is very beneficial. I have used if for almost 4 yrs. I mostly follow the organ/meridian needs Kaiyah has. But I do use for symptomatic treatment also. You can find lots of info in color therapy online-just use what you want & discard the rest. I sue blue, aqua & green alot. Some fushia (magenta) for the head. I use a clamp light b/c it is recessed & shine more direct. I use party lights or scarfs/cellophane for the color. The skin will absorb it. I also have used colored baths ( dye-but watch out for toxicity) w/ a colored light at the same time. I think particularly that the yellow light would be good for short periods of time on the navel. Yellow is for the liver also-so you don't want to over do it & cause the liver to cleanse too fast. Mixed w/ nutrietion & diet, it would be so effective. One good rule is to follow w/ green as it is the total healing color. Yellow also has a balance color but I can't lay hands on my book right now. These are just off the top of my head........ Orange-brain retention-use when studying or reading-can use the colored clear protector sheets in office supplies. It is also for muscles. Blue-head, throat Red-energy, lower torso Green-heart, all healing, tumors, never too much green Feel free to ask me any more Qs. · ´¨)) -:¦:- . .·´¨¨)) -:- ~Jolene~ ((¸¸.· ..·´-:¦:- Heal me,O Lord, & I shall be healed -:¦:- ((¸¸. I think 25 watts was recommended in a book I read & that is what the party lights were. I do know that it is alot more technical if done by a chromotherapist-mainly sectioned skin exposed to light w/ a wheel of colors in sequence for a determined time. I have not been fortunate to meet such a person. I got the book :Healing For The Age of Enlightenment by Stanley Burroughs. And was taught by my dd's therapist. I hgihly recommend it but to my knowledge it is out of print. We just did what felt right. I wish I ahd more concrete answers for you. Obviously, I am not an expert-just an experiencer. · ´¨)) -:¦:- . .·´¨¨)) -:- ~Jolene~ ((¸¸.· ..·´-:¦:- Heal me,O Lord, & I shall be healed -:¦:- ((¸¸. He says green is ALWAYS safe for any length of time. Consider the greens in the hospitals, surgical srubs est. Hospitals w/ green have less infection. He says it will SHRINK tumors of the brain even. Teal/auqa Green happens to be my fav. color. Could you name your source? I also use colored glasses-I have found Wal-Mart had them in the party isle-very reasonale ($1.67 I believe instead of $12+ for the " alternative " brand) & the Dollar Trees ect....... Everything's a Dollar stores have them for $1 & tehy are deep shades of color. I have quite a collection & can't keep my kid's mitts off of them. Blue & purple seem to affect me more & I can't wear them for long. · ´¨)) -:¦:- . .·´¨¨)) -:- ~Jolene~ ((¸¸.· ..·´-:¦:- Heal me,O Lord, & I shall be healed -:¦:- ((¸¸. Guest guest
, There's good science behind this. Put on your rose colored glasses! Blue CALMS ME DOWN! Quickly! Orange makes me feel a little edgy, as though I was about to be confronted. I suppose it " raises my backhairs. " Get a set & try them, but do not take them lightly. People who arbitrarily wear colored lenses affect themselves physically & psychologically! Used carelessly, colored lenses can be somewhat harmful! Also, for an immediate calming effect, I have an aluminum tuning fork, about $35, at 136.1 Hz, which is Om. Whack the fork & put the stem on the crown chakra.... instant calm! Anybody! Anytime! www.toolsforhealth.com Anyone with a walkman & headphones can listen to a CD with binaural beat frequencies. The human brainstates such as sleep, dreaming/hypnogogic state, alpha/muse, beta/takin' care of bizness.... all are specific frequencies. There are many different frequencies going on all over the brain, but the " predominant brainwave frequency " determines the brainstate. Sleep, or delta brainwaves, are between 0-4 Hz, or cycles per second. When you are driving at normal highway speeds, say 55-70 mph, the broken lines on the highway are passing by at about 2-3 lines per second. This is why driving at night can put you to sleep. When you become tired you are more vulnerable to having your brain follow the first sleep frequency that comes along. It's only natural. The broken lines on highways should ALL be very shrot, so they have a high frequency around 14-16 Hz, to keep people alert! Flicker machines that supply flashing lights & binaural beats can trick your mind -- at will -- to the brainstate you want. A 1st class portable with lots of power and manual control is the Photosonix Muse# for about $179. You can use it for so many things. To get a primer on brain gadgets with scientific backgrounds, read Megabrain & /or Megabrain Power, both by Hutchison. They are oold, but still the primer. Almost 10 years ago, when I had congestive heart failure bad enough that they gave me 3-24 months to live, I used a flicker machine to guide me to 5.5 Hz every morning to meditate on my healing. I won't go into source, but there is a list in the public domain of different brainstates that are triggered by specific frequencies. The anonymous description for 5.5 Hz says, " goes from knowledge to knowing. " I was about to die if I didn't figure it out, so that sounded like the first stop to me -- knowing what to do. It worked in less than 10 days! I gestalted everything I knew and then I knew what to do to get well! (Those of us who experiment in these things call ourselves " neuronauts. " ;-) Alternatively pronounced " neuro-nuts. " ) 5.5 Hz is the " floaty place " just as you are waking or going to sleep. When you practice to hang ten there for a while it is very healing! You can even summon it on your own just by thinking, as you are going to sleep, " Take me to the floating place! " Or, meditate & say the same thing. Try it! Give your brain a command and it will follow it, if possible. BUT, you brain ALREADY KNOWS where the floating place is! So, it knows how to get you there! Whether it is a specific fraction of the light spectrum, or sound vibration, it is all FREQUENCY, which is the Universal language. Any way you apply a frequency message to the body you get a response. Think about schools under power lines -- frequency. Microwaves, radar, cellular -- frequency. Tom-toms & firelight -- frequency. Frequency messages are all around us. So, will colored glasses work? Absolutely! Tools For Health, formerly Tools For Exploration, sells a lot of things, including books, on this subject. jim john price wrote: > > > I also use colored glasses-I have found Wal-Mart had them in the party > > isle-very reasonale ($1.67 I believe instead of $12+ for the > > " alternative " brand) & the Dollar Trees ect....... Guest guest
Dear jp, My dad used to say I wore rose-colored glasses, and my outlook is pretty positive! Best of Health!
