Ella,

What awesome pictures! Thanks for sharing them :) I'm sorry we won't

see you this weekend, but I completely understand if you can't make

it! I will look forward to hearing ALL about your trip when you get

home and at the Grand Opening of the WMTC :) We will definitely be

with you in spirit (and wishing we were with you in person....at

least I will be..lol)! Have an awesome time and enjoy yourself :) I

know you will! Can't wait to hear all about it!

You will have an incredible time in LA. Say hi to everyone for us.

I wish I could see your face when you walk into the WMTC and hear the

pulsing music ... . I'm so glad you are going to the opening! We

May I just say holy cow!!! You look like a totally different

person!!! Your arms and abs are totally beautiful... and you are to

be commended for all your hard work!!! How exciting to see the after

photos of you... you are truly a beautiful person... you can see the

glow in your countenance (that " Tae Bo Glow " !!! ;O) )

And good luck on going to the WTC!!! Thats my goal, to one day get

there and meet you all in person... and to jump all over Shellie and

Billie and tell them how much I love them!!! (do you think they would

mind? *giggle*) Have the most fun and take lots of pictures!!!

Sara,

Sorry you had some disapponting pics from the 1st round! I bet

today's pics will turn out really awesome, though.... we already know

that the beach is a great backdrop for you in a bikini from your

other pics. :) Looking forward to seeing your friend's pics too!

Jen B.

> Well, I got the pictures back today from the photo shoot Monday

afternoon. I don't like a single one of them. Has that ever

happened to y'all before? My head/hair was terrible looking and my

body wasn't so great either. Some of them weren't too bad but she

had me in such a funky pose that it is kind of embarrassing. We're

going down to the beach tomorrow afternoon - I'm hoping for better

results. Luckily, I don't have a scanner so I don't have the ability

to scan one into y'all anyway.

>

> My friend, Dana's pictures looked pretty good - hers were done

inside instead of outside and those were better overall. If she gets

them posted today, I'll send y'all a link to hers. She doesn't have

a scanner either but is trying to find a place around here that will

do it for her.

Sara,

I can hardly believe you would ever take a crappy pic. And yeah, i

HATE all of my pix. I just let other people pick out what they think

is best, cause i am way too critical. Why not post em and let us

critique them. You are way too much of a hottie to look bad!

Dianne (glad Dana's look good though, I'm sure that helped

boost her even more)

I have to agree with Wayne about your pictures. You look great in

them! In no time at all your self-image will be back to what others

see in you. It's so much harder to see the positive in ourselves

that others see so easily. The comments received are wonderful when

they are told, but if your self-image isn't what you'd like it to be

it's also difficult to take them as honest remarks. Am I making

sense?

I'm speaking from personal experience and thought I'd share. It's

only when I see current photos of myself that I can see what other

people see when they see me in person. I, too, am working on my self-

image. It's one of the hardest things to improve. Hang in there!

ABSOLUTELY!! I know exactly where you are coming from.

;)

Too many rejections in my life made me believe exactly what they were

telling me then. Its hard coded into my being.

I know it will take some time, but I also know that, Im NOW on that

road!!

Breaks my heart when people lament their body image etc...

Stop it, stop it, stop it!

*pokes everyone who says they hate their pics*

(oops, broke a nail. i think this was my first poke so i'm not very

good at it.)

Flips me out to read that stuff.

I am trying to get over it myself.

Do like I do - squeeze yo' fat blob every few weeks and notice how

there's less of it. Then you can feel good. And remember people,

you are not deformed - it's not like you have a giant green growth

out of the side of your face. You're getting in shape.

Plus you are here and you are doing something about it!

Celebrate your progress! I command thee.

,

I am the same way. It's the negative comments that stick in my

mind regardless of how many nice things have been said most

recently. Why I harp on the negatives and don't move on is a whole

other issue. Anyway, I'm happy to hear that you are moving ahead and

that you won't let those past negatives bring or keep you down! I'm

doing the same thing. I'm just a little slower. =0)

If I was at all tempted by the bread with sweet creamy butter comment

earlier, that squeezin' the fat blob comment cured me, LOL.

Jen B.

P.S. Don't worry, you'll get used to the poking real soon. ;)

Too many rejections in my life made me believe exactly

what they were

telling me then. Its hard coded into my being.

______________

I was the same way too. I know that's hard to believe

with the ego I show. :P Whenever I was turned down for

dates from chicks I always thought there was something

wrong with me. I know now that wasn't the case.

Weightlifting has really been one of the greatest

things I've picked up in my life. It helped give me

the self-esteem I needed. Weightlifting even helped

pull me out of a severe bout of depression I was

suffering from about a year ago. It was so bad I was

nausiated 24/7, exhausted constantly, and felt like I

was a the point where any little thing could make me

cry. I didn't even care about going to the gym, and

I'm someone who's compulsive about working out. I

ended up making myself going to the gym. God it was

hard a hell lifting with no energy at all, but I was

able to do it and pull myself out of the hole. It's

stuff like that which helped my self-esteem grow from

going to the gym. Something else that's help me, and

can help you guy too is to pick up the " Dance naked in

front of the mirror victory dance " that I designed to

do after every workout. I'm happy to say I am the

forerunner of that movement. :)

Oh yeah, I've still been turned down for dates

(whenever I decide to try), but I don't let it get to

me. I just figure hey, I'm intelligent, funny, good

looking, athletic, goal oriented, want to make

something out of my life, I can see why she turned me

down for a date. :P

Ok . . . I've sent a picture () . . . it was taken last

September, before I got sick with EN. So add about 20 lbs to me and

there we have me. My eyes tend to disappear when I'm laughing, I'm

not asian =)This one was taken while on a river boat dinner on Lake

Champlain (sp?) during one of my husband's conferences. I don't have

any pictures of my lumps . . . maybe I can grab them from my doc when

I see her. K, try not to get sick when you see my pic . . . and have

a great day everyone!
