Guest guest
Thank you so much for your kind words. I don't think you have any idea how much you bring to this list. I love your stories and your song. You are the inspiration. One can feel very alone and eccentric in this world, but when you join with other people who share a common interest and goal, the world seems small again and the excitement of sharing and learning about good health, sprouts, recipes, rain barrels, and worms, is invigorating. With Melody's videos, and everyone's ideas, enthusiasm, and input, it is a lot of fun reading email :) n Rollings, PhDNJ Licensed Psychologist #4686www.DrnRollings.com Until we have the courage to recognize cruelty for what it is--whether its victim is human or animal--we cannot expect things to be much better in this world... We had a rain barrel as a child and song to go with it. Playmate come out and play with me climb my apple tree, yell down my rain barrel....We had eves on our house that drained into the rain barrel and we skimmed the water off of the top. We also went to the orchards to gather wild asparagus and went huckleberry picking the first week in August. We fill 5 gallon jugs and momma froze them for winter pancakes. I had such an idealistic childhood.

Guest guest
Ah yes, I had forgotten about verse 2. Thanks for the reminder! Peggy Yea, but the instant that I pressed 'send', I realized that it wasn't correct. He's the whole thing the way my mother taught it to me: Oh PLAYMATE, come out and play with me And bring your dollies three. Climb up my apple tree, Look down my rain barrel Slide down my cellar door And we'll be jolly friends forever more. It was a rainy day, She couldn't come out to play, With tearful eyes and tender sighs I could hear her say: I'm sorry Playmate, I cannot play with you My dollies have the flu, Boo-hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo. Ain't got no rain barrel Ain't got no cellar door But we'll be jolly friends forever more. ew
