As you could tell by very similar post...you gals are experiencing a

normal post-op. When I say normal I mean Within the normal range of

what happens. Some have more problems eating...other hardly any.

Right now your tummy is swollen and it is very angry with you...lol.

That will go away. In the mean time you can almost always get around

it by eating SLOWER and TINYer amounts for each bite. I mean you may

actually have to SNEAK the food into your tummy. For example let's

not talk Teaspoon amounts, that may be too much " right now " , you may

have to sneak in ONE tiny curd of cottage cheese at a time. Get what

I mean by TINY. Honestly your tummy won't even know you put it in

there. Wait a minute (or 5) and do it again. If this amount works

for you try two curds at a time....find " YOUR " level of acceptable

food intake for each bite. Eat PURE protein at this time. NO

sides. Getting in Protein and Fluids is ALL you should be eating for

now. It will Help you feel better the closer you can get to getting

in the required amounts.

Being a bit miserable with sleeping is normal also. I was 2 months

before I could lay down. My butt hurt so much it is what I remember

most...that and the exhaustion level. It does get better, I promise!

Hugs

Jo
