Grouply .... warning?

I have been reading information that concerns me about Google's new " Grouply " .

I found an article at this site http://www.ncs-tech.org/?p=1146 which lists

both pros... and the many cons of joining grouply.

Another Yahoo Group posted the following:

" We are a group of parents discussing our children's health problems. Recently

some of members

joined a new (beta) group aggregator service called Grouply. Many used their

Yahoo ID's and passwords. Somehow this has given Google permission to collect

info about the Grouply members. AS a result,

hundres of messages of the.... Support list are appearing on various public web

sites. Most have gone to a web page called sub.arcadejournal.org. On the advice

of Yahoo, we have been asking our group members to resign from Grouply and

change their Yahoo ID's and passwords. "
