Guest guest
Hi all, I am looking for some recipes for things to do with wheat sprouts. I am not afraid of gluten or carbs - lol. I did try to make a sprouted kamut essence bread recently. I don't think I cooked it long enough. I ended up forming it into patties and putting them in a food dehydrator. Not too bad for an emergency save, but not quite what I was looking for. Anyway I look forward to your responses. I'm not against cooked food in general but I am a vegetarian. Guest guest
Have you checked out the recipes on sproutpeople? I think Gil might have something or two. Maybe a baked apple with? Guest guest
We do several things with wheat sprouts in our house:1. make wheatgrass for juicing2. occasionally sprout some to be eaten as a raw cereal with a nondairy milk3. occasionally sprout some to be eaten with a little soy and sesame oil4. make essene bread or crackers (haven't tried baking any just yet, just dehydrating)5. wheatberries are always included in my birds' sprout mixes. They really like themam always open to new ideas myself, so I am interested to see what others say. n
