Guest guest Posted July 7, 2004 Report Share Posted July 7, 2004 Hi Donna- Well, what had happened is I was challenged, online, by Dennis in Wisconsin, to organise a gathering. Well, I took the bull by the horns and pulled it off. It was fabulous!! Since I had already met 3 other caregivers by then, I just knew that everyone's hearts would benevit from a gathering. So, there it was! will be here, well, we are planning and with travel fares, the last week in August for 3 weeks...smiling so big here if I had false teeth they would fall out!! There has been some talk, within my personal emails of another gathering and possibly having me do the organising, however, I don't feel I can these days. I have tons going on in my life, and taking on one more situation wouldn't be a good thing. I would though, attend a gathering should someone else put one together, and will feel most honored to attend this on 's arm. What a wonderful feeling having let fate take us to where we are now. :-) So, anyone wanting to step up and organise a gathering...do so now, and trust me, you won't regret it. Actually, I am sitting here now, typing this email with my " Ask Me About Lewy Body Dementia " t-shirt that Jim W. was so generous to hand out that day. I received mine since I had organised the gathering, also got one that day for travelling the furthest to the gathering. Hmmmm, who'da known then??
