, I don't remember what I wrote, but not only is it close, but my

youngest daughter did volunteer work at the special school that she was in when

she was in K-3. the woman that's getting the house done that is. So my

daughter, who lives in TN is so happy, because that was her baby for four

years. I am

keeping her up on what is going on. I drove close by today, but they are not

doing anything today except drawing up plans and such. Tomorrow they demolish

the house and start rebuilding on Sunday. I am not sure how much I will get

over there, but I will some at least. If I can, as there will be such a

crowd. TV is on and they just said they spent the day going in and removing all

traces of asbestos. It took them a few hours to do it. The house was solid and

they considered just moving it, but it was going to take too much, especially

with the asbestos, since the house was built in 1955. The family is in

Colorado. They said that they wanted to go play in the snow. One little blurb

about

what was said when they were discussing what each of the kids wanted for

their rooms has me crying. She said she just wanted room for her Momma to be

able to come in and kiss her goodnight. I am blubbering again. The things we

take for granted. I have my handicapped daughter and I kiss her hundreds of

times a day, and I just can't imagine not being able to kiss her goodnight and

tuck her in. She may be 46, but I still do it and it just broke my heart when I

read what that girl, who is a teenager wanted. She could have asked for

anything, but she just wanted her Momma to be able to kiss her goodnight. That

Momma has done a good job as far as I am concerned, to instill that in her. The

Momma fell off one of the counters and busted her pelvis in another house

they lived in. She can't take a bath or shower by herself, and her kids are all

teenagers, and they will be leaving home in a few years, so she needs to be

able to continue taking care of herself. She was living with the father of

her four kids and was on welfare when she was with him. Split with him in 2000

and went to college and got an AA degree, got herself a degree, worked for

Easter Seals, in fact became an Ambassador for them. Was 2005 poster child for

them. In 2006 the housing authority helped her buy her house and she saw how

much good they did, she got a job with them. She also got a drivers license

when she got rid of the guy. So she got a drivers license, a college degree,

got off welfare, got a job and now makes 35,000.00 a year at her job. Has all

four kids in high school. To me that makes her a heroine for us all. She only

has one arm. No legs, and a partial right arm. The show will air in March.

Okay, enough. I am just so happy for her. There are a few who are bitching

about the noise and all that it will create. I say, get over it. It is only a

week, and it will make someones life so much better. Some people.
