home :) Have also answered home-phone like I was at work.... have

the phone like that when my boss called though (probably cuz he never

calls).

Thank you, eating fruit is usually my last option because it just doesn't

seem sweetenough but after a couple days of no sugar, I start to crave

bananas-so I think I'll buy some and see if it helps, the thing is I know too

much fruit wouldn't help my weightloss either but I guess it would be better

than candy?

It would be much better than candy! I think it would help with weight loss,

as long as you aren't eating massive amounts! I love to slice up bananas,

strawberries and kiwis and top them with light cool whip! Yum! What about

sugar free jello and sugar free puddings? Those are great when you want

something sweet :)

Yes, there is a cure. Do some research on the carb addict diets. My guess

is that you are not 'addicted' to sugar, but to carbohydrates, which is why

you still aren't feeling any better. Studies show that you do get an

increase in energy when eating sugar, however, you energy level drops

significantly below where you originally started after the original boost.

Kind of like crashing.

Ugh, I remember the days of caffeine withdrawal. I used to drink so much soda

all day at work to keep me pepped up (this was before I exercised and ate

healthy), then one day I decided to start on the path to health, and gave it

up cold turkey. I was miserable for about a week......headaches, and

*GRUMPY*, but now I mostly drink water and feel better for it.

As far as the sugar goes, it will be the same thing, pretty much. My

tastebuds would revolt at the " bland " food I was giving it, but after awhile

your tastes change, and you will be able to taste the natural sweetness in

foods. For me, my energy increased when I started eating more complex

carbohydrates, like grains, instead of things like candy.

who still will occasionally indulge in candy, and finds it sickeningly sweet

and rich now.

Good luck getting over this sugar addiction! It's just like any other

craving or addiction (like caffeine)...it will probably take your

body a good week or two to start feeling normal. If you can get

through this initial time of feeling bad, I think you'll start to

feel better and your body will get used to the decrease in sugar!

I WISH I could give up my coffee! I just can't do it. I swear, caffeine is

worse that heroin! I didn't drink it for 8 or 9 days while I was really sick,

I have no idea why I started again. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!

:) who has cut back to one cup a day, so that is a big improvement!

I just bought 2 books on the Carb addict diet, and I am definently a carb

addict no doubt, it has a questionnaire to see if you are. I fit perfectly.

So I am starting today!!
