Barbara was one of the most spiritual people I've ever known. She lived her faith every single day of her life. A few years ago she was diagnosed with the disease which would eventually kill her. She said to me not long before she died, " When I found out I was dying, I prayed to God to heal me. It took me a while to realize that he had, just not in the way I expected.
