Guest guest
Hi , I am sorry to hear of your husband's dementia at such an early age. We just read an article that was done on jobs that contribute to early onset of dementia. One was dentistry and clergy and one or two more. Does your husband fit into this category? I will send you the article at your personal e-mail address. My husband also has LBD. One of the things with LBD is that besides the dementia they have a Parkinsonism, not a true Parkinsons, but mostly in their gait. Also, different from AD is that although they have confusion a lot, they are aware of almost everything surrounding them. They have periods of lucidity and it can be misleading to believe that they are ok, it is very frustrating. Yahoo also has a caringspouses support group. go to: http://www.lewybodydementia.org and in the left margine click on groups and then you will find the caringspouses group to join. I go between both groups, but I have found that the caregivers group is most comfortable for me. You will find a lot of support and answers on both support groups. I am glad that you found us.
