Melody, do you mix the seeds before, or mix the sprouts after?

I'm having a grand time with my sprouting - sometimes I just take 3 or 4

different kinds of sprouts and make a salad of them. Sometimes I add sprouts to

things like chicken salad or egg salad and eat as a salad. The taste is delish.

I must get a backup for my fenugreek seeds! I use fenugreek in my (eastren

Indian) sour cereal (a millet cereal) and I've just about used my hoard for

sprouting!

Hi Pam:

Yes, I take a 2 quart mason jar and put two tablespoons of radish, fenugreek,and

broccoli (might add some alfalfa if I have a mind to), and I do the soaking

thing all day long (or all night long), and then, when they have germinated, I

put these in my sprout garden.

So when they are all ready, they are a lovely mix of all my seeds and they

sprout nice and lovely and they smell wonderful and radishy and when I make a

salad...well, let's just say I should have been doing this years ago. But who

cares. I'm a sprouter and they taste just fine.

I re-did my kitchen. I wanted one of the bookcases on the opposite side of the

kitchen, near a window and near where I do my kitchen stuff.

So I moved one of the bookcases and I added added some pretty fake plants on the

top shelf (they look just like sprouts) so I had to put them on top. And I have

my round green trays sitting on two of the shelves. Since this is near my sink,

it makes life a whole lot easier when I rinse and drain. I wish I could make a

video but my FLIP camcorder died and I'm sending it back and they will replace

it.

THEN I WILL START MAKING VIDEOS AGAIN.
